[edit] Overview and Prerequisites

The Assignment tool allows you to create online assignments within your Blackboard course. These assignments automatically create columns in the Grade Center and update as students submit their work. Files such as .doc/.docx/.pdf can also be attached to these assignments. Unlike SafeAssign these papers are not automatically sent through a plagerism detection system.

Before using the Assignment tool you should have basic working knowledge of computers, web skills, and Blackboard.
