How to access course material (student version)

This requires the following:

  1. USF ID Card
    • This can be uptained at the Marshall Center Card Center. The cost is 10 Dollars.
  2. NetID
    • To get your netID you first need to have your USF ID card ready.
    • Next, go to my.usf.
    • On the left hand sign of the page you will see a module called "Sign up." Follow that link to sign up for your [netID].
  3. After completing these steps, you now have access to Blackboard.

[edit] Accessing Your Course Material

  1. To access your course materials sign into Blackboard.
  2. Once you are signed in, click on the "Courses" Tab.
    • This is where you will find all the courses you are enrolled in.
  3. Locate the course you wish to view the materials in and click on the link.
  4. Once you are inside your course you will see the welcome screen that the instructor has set up. On the left hand side you will see links to various parts of the course. To view the material click on one of the links. Majority of your course materials will be in the following links:
    • Announcements - This is a link that takes you to any annoucements that your instructor has posted.
    • Syllabus - Here you should be able to find the syllabus that your professor has posted.
    • Course Documents - Here is where the professors typically post class readings, powerpoints, notes, and other information that you will need for your course.
    • Assignments - In this link you will typically find the assignments tha the professor has set up for the course.
