[edit] How to Hide an Old Course

After you use BlackBoard for several semesters you will notice that all of the previous courses you taught will still remain on myUSF under the courses section. These previous classes are kept for archival purposes, however this make it difficult to find the current course you are teaching. Although you can't remove previous courses you can prevent them from appearing, by editing the "Course List" module in Blackboard.

  1. By default the "Course List" module is located in the Courses tab of myUSF.

  2. Once in the courses tab click on the click on the pencil icon associated with the "Course List" module.

  3. In the "Display Course Name" column uncheck any coures you do not want displayed and click submit.

NOTE: Each of the columns are independent of each other. If you have other options check for the course they will be displayed. If you do not want that information displayed uncheck the corasponding the column.

If you don't see a module titled "Course List" on your personal Blackboard Welcome, you can add it by clicking on the "Modify Content". This will take you to another screen where you will see a list of modules you can choose from. Scroll down the list and choose "Course List" from the list and submit the change. Blackboard places the modules at the bottom of the screen by default. You can re-organize your modules by clicking on the "modify Layout" button.
