The eReserves are copyright-protected materials that can be put on reserve for viewing in your courses through the library. You must contact the library to use this feature.

[edit] Linking Library eReserves to your course

In the Control Panel, select the Content Area you wish to add the eReserves link to.

Once in your desired Content Area select the Image:Add item button.jpg button, this is found on the top left of the page.

A new page will load allowing you to input information on the eReserves that you wish to link to this course.

In the first section enter a name for the content, and then a description in the box below.

The second section allows you to specify the content system location.

Click on the Browse button next to the "Link to Content Collection" box. This should take you to a screen similar to the one below.

Select eReserves from the left column. This will load a page like the following.

Select the course you wish to link to. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Submit.

The file path will now have been entered in the Browse Content Collection Box. In the box below that one, enter the desired name of the link to the Content Collection content.

The third section contains the content options.

The first option creates a link that students can select and retrieve the eReserves folder. The second option allows you to load the Content System content into a new window. To track the number of views on the content, select Yes on the third option. The next option adds metadata to the content. Finally, the last section sets timeframe restrictions for the content.

When finished, scroll down to the last section and hit Submit. The eReserves link has now been added to the chosen Content Area.
