Create a Development Course Site

Members of the myUSF Blackboard who are instructors of at least one other course can now create Development course sites.

When you log into myUSF, click on the Courses tab. Then look for this module. If you are an instructor of another course, you should see the link in the image. Click it to create your course site.

You should see a results screen similar to the following

There is currently a limit of 10 course sites per Blackboard account. Course sites have a hard quota of 1Gb size. Courses that need more space should contact the IT Helpdesk to learn about options for hosting larger media files and linking them to your Blackboard development courses.

Tips for using your development courses

  • Create one development site for each unique course in your teaching load. Most courses are taught repeatedly semester after semester. A single development course.
