[edit] It's a Wiki

This documentation is built as a network of information in support of research and instruction at the University of South Florida. It is maintained by the Academic Computing Technology Consultants. It utilizes the mediawiki engine used to drive Wikipedia.

[edit] What's Here?

The information contained inside this site is searchable, but we also encourage the community to extend its skill set and knowledge base by meandering through the site, following links and gaining deeper understanding of the technology information contained herein, while integrating technological savvy with already existing knowledge networks. Our goal is to provide the community with documentation and links to as much reliable material as we can, while adding rich media (audio, video, and interactive animation) when necessary to help enrich the learning experience. We may also link to outside sources in order to expand the resources available to the community beyond what we can provide alone.

[edit] Still Going

This is--and will always be--a work in progress. We encourage you to make suggestions and let us know when you run across something outdated or in need of work. If there is some technology skill for which we might add documentation that would be helpful to you, let us know. Odds are, it would be helpful to more of the community.

[edit] Contribute

If you want to write a draft of documentation on some task, information, interesting implementation of technology, or work-around of software limitations and send it to us, that would be much appreciated. We'd like to tap the technology knowledge of the university community in order to provide an easily searchable online home for such information that will be avilable 24/7. Every contribution extends what can be offered to the community as a whole.
